Cedarburg

With historical architecture, antiquing, an award-winning school district, and annual family-friendly Festivals, it comes as no surprise Cedarburg was named as one of the “Best Places to Raise Kids” by Bloomberg Business Week.

Welcome to Cedarburg

Named one of the “Prettiest Small Towns in America” by Fortune Magazine in 2011, the historic and quaint city of Cedarburg is known for its preservation of its rich past.

The charming and pedestrian-friendly downtown sector consists of buildings made from the original limestone brought over in the early 1800s which now house boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, pubs, and inns.

With 34 parks covering over 140 acres, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging, and biking. In addition, residents can enjoy water-based recreations like canoeing and fishing on the beautiful, winding Cedar Creek which flows through the city and is home to one of the last remaining covered bridges in Wisconsin.

Cedarburg’s school district has been ranked very highly and received many accolades and awards. In 2013, Cedarburg High School was ranked Wisconsin’s second best high school by Newsweek and in 2014 was the only high school in Wisconsin to achieve a National Blue Ribbon School status by the U.S. Department of Education.

Home to numerous festivals like the Winter Festival in February, CedarBrew in April, Strawberry Festival in June, Wine & Harvest Festival in September, Oktoberfest, A Cedarburg Christmas, and others - there will never be a dull moment in this vibrant city.
